Abstract of the paper - download.

We invite you to prepare and submit papers to the conference. As part of the 48th KKBN will take place plenary and poster sessions.

The authors on the "Registration Card" for the conference can indicate the preferred type of presentation. The decision of the final assignation of the session type will be taken by the Scientific Committee.

The authors of the papers are asked to prepare full versions of articles about unpublished content, together with an abstract in Polish and English, and the authors of the publication and sending these documents, including all files, via e-mail to the Scientific Committee –

Presented papers, after passing the review process, will be publish in the "Nondestructive Testing and Diagnostics" journal.

Authors who want to obtain MNiSW points are asked to indicate it in the e-mail correspondence. Then, these papers will be publish in the „Welding Technology Review” journal.

The authors of the papers are responsible for the substantive and editorial content.


As every year, also at the 48th KKBN, a competition for the "prof. Zdzisław Pawłowski Award" for the best paper of a young participant of the Non-Destructive Test Conference will take place. The founder of the prize is a Technic-Control sp. o.o. company. Authors who are interest and meet the conditions presented in the Regulations (attached) should indicate it in correspondence with the Scientific Committee.

The full papers should be prepared in accordance with the below presented requirements („The requirements for the author of the papers”).

The requirements for the authors of the papers – „Nondestructive Testing and Diagnostics” 

A paper should not exceed 8 pages; a communique must not exceed 1 to 4 pages of a computer printout on A4 page format, without tabs and indents, Times New Roman Font size 12, top, bottom, left and right margins – 2,5 cm. 

Drawings and tables with titles should be set in the text. Drawings, diagrams, and photographs should be called “figures” (e.g. Fig. 1) and marked by means of Arabic numerals whereas the tables should be marked with Roman numerals (e.g. Table IV).

Descriptions integrated with the figures as well as line width should be sufficiently sized. The author should allow for figure zooming down to 30%.

The paper should contain information on the author (s) as follows: university grade or professional position, first and last name, title of the paper, abstract (up to 1/3 page), master text divided into applicable sections with separate subheading, conclusions, bibliography, bibliographical listing marked with Arabic numerals in square brackets and ordered in the sequence of text references.
